step init
This should be used to initalize a step axis the first time it is used after powering up or resetting the VLF. The initialization process checks for proper communication between the MPE and stepper controller, and programs the run and idle currents from the stored NVS values into the motor drive amplifier.
The step axes can be referred to by either name or number. The following list shows the name, number, and location of each step axis in the autoloader subsystem.
